apply eye makeup big eyes
How do i apply the right eye-makeup?

I have big almond shaped eyes, ppl say its my best feature… but my eyelid area is very large so whenever I apply any eye-shadow it looks horrible and makes my eyes bulge out. I can only apply eye-liner. pls suggest some ways to hide this large eye-lid area!

I wish I was right there infront of you. As a make-up artist. We find it hard to apply shadows to somone with small eyes. All you have to do is stand back and don’t get to close to the mirror. You can always see the whole pic when not right on it. For day time, try solid earthtones just over the eye itself not the whole eyelid to the eyebrow, but just to the crease of the lid. Then break it just a bit by putting somthing a little darker in the crease. Now for evening, this should be easy for you. Do the same thing, just go a little more dramatic with your colors and darker in the crease. What ever you do dont ware eyeliner on both the top and the bottom of you eye, you’ll just close down those big beautifull eyes of yours. Making them appear smaller.
